The Lindbergh Flyerettes placed top in the nation this past weekend as they traveled to Disney World in Orlando, Florida for the National Dance Team Championship.The Varsity Flyerettes placed 3rd with their "Can-Can" High Kick routine! This is the highest placement since 1991. The team also placed 4th in their Varsity Pom division, one of the largest divisions of the compeition. They competed against the top teams across the US and 4th is the highest ranking Lindbergh has ever placed in this category. The Junior Varsity squad also placed 7th in the Nation as outstanding Finalists! The Lindbergh Flyerettes dance team has been established for 44 years and continues to climb the ranks. The 42 girls on varsity and junior varsity are involved in over 40 different clubs and sports teams at LHS, they have raised over $1500 for Coaches Vs Cancer, they were Finalists for the American Spirit Award, they are involved in volunteering for local church and community organizations, and had the highest team G.P.A. at Lindbergh during the previous school year.
