ST. JUSTIN MARTYR ANNOUNCES OPENING OF JUSTIN TIME PRESCHOOL
St. Justin Martyr Continues to Grow, Bucking the Catholic School Trends
St. Justin Martyr Catholic School in Sunset Hills recently announced the opening of Justin Time Preschool for the fall of 2013. Expanding to meet the needs of their current
and future families, St. Justin is bucking the current Catholic School trend of declining enrollment. “This was a
natural progression for our school. St.Justin has a reputation of academic excellence in a faith-focused school. Preschool is the perfect age to begin this education and faith formation beyond home,” Mrs. Teresa McIntyre, Preschool Director said. The Justin Time Preschool will be the only Catholic preschool Sunset Hills.
In a press release, Mrs. McIntyre detailed the unique features of Justin Time, “We offer a quality Catholic education for a child’s first classroom experiences in a faith-filled academic setting. We also offer flexibility. Many families have to choose between flexible schedules and strong academics – we have both! Families may choose from two to five day-a-week options and a daily schedule ranging from 7:30- 11:45, 7:30 – 2:45 and beyond! Our Aftercare option includes engaging activities until 6pm.
Finally, the St. Justin community offers an incredibly welcoming community. These preschool children aren’t going to be St. Justin students, they ARE St. Justin students!”
St. Justin currently enrolls students in Kindergarten through the eighth grade. The school has been recognized by the Archdiocese of St. Louis as a leader in Curriculum and Assessment. Beth Bartolotta, St. Justin Principal stated, “Our award-winning staff does a marvelous job of empowering every student to truly understand their
academic progress and pinpoint areas of improvement. The staff provides individualized instruction to ensure that every student is challenged with appropriate subject
content.”
These types of innovative practices have led to stable enrollment numbers – a refreshing trend within the
Archdiocese. “We have to provide a high quality product to compete in today’s educational environment. But, the primary reason we exist is to provide a Catholic Education.” Mrs. Bartolotta stated.
St. Justin is located at 11914 Eddie & Park Road in Sunset Hills. Interested families may contact the school at 314-843-6447or at www.stjustinmartyr.org.
