Blotter: Disgruntled Employee Threatens Watson Road Business, Valentine's Day Assault at Five Guys

Terrorist threats

Feb. 11: Police were called to Holiday Inn/Mile 277, 10709 Watson Rd., to investigate a potential terrorist threat. Officers found a disgruntled employee had made threats against his place of employment.

Theft

  • Feb. 14: Phillips 66, 10743 Watson Rd., 9:49 a.m.
  • Feb. 18: A theft was reported at Toys ‘R’ Us, 3600 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 5:23 p.m.

Assault

  • Feb. 12: A domestic assault was reported on the 200 block of FLoralea around 7:49 p.m.
  • Feb. 14: An assault was reported at Five Guys, 1500 S. Lindbergh Blvd., around 9:09 p.m. The suspect was gone on arrival, according to police reports.

Fugitive arrests

  • Feb. 13: Highway 30 at Maurer Industrial, 12:48 p.m.
  • Feb. 16: USPS, 11662 Gravois Rd., 10:47 a.m.
  • Feb. 16: Econo Lodge, 3730 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 8:17 p.m.
  • Feb. 17: Lindbergh Boulevard northbound at Interstate 44, 11:21 p.m.

Drunkenness

  • Feb. 12: Mile 277, 10709 Watson Rd., 9:19 p.m.

Destruction of property

  • Feb. 13: Holiday Inn/Viking/Mile 277, 10709 Watson Rd., 9:38 a.m.
  • Feb. 15: A vehicle parked at Holiday Inn/Viking/Mile 277 had its window broken.
  • Feb. 15: Home Depot, 10890 Sunset Hills Plz., 5:08 p.m.

Peace disturbance

  • Feb. 14: Days Inn, 3654 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 9:14 p.m.

Juvenile incident

  • Feb. 17: Laumeier Sculpture Park, 12580 Rott Rd., 5:07 p.m.

Suspicious person

  • Feb. 12: Econo Lodge, 3730 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 8:02 p.m.
  • Feb. 12: Burger King, 10734 Sunset Hills Plz., 10:10 p.m.
  • Feb. 13: Longhorn Steakhouse, 3642 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 7:15 p.m.
  • Feb. 17: Laumeier Rott Road House, 9050 Rott Rd., 4:41 p.m.
  • Feb. 18: Make it Sew, 10206 Watson Rd. The suspect was gone on arrival, according to police reports.

Whoa, lots of "incidents", whatever those are, especially the animal variety. I guess that could be barking dogs. Not sure what the "juvenile incident" at the Sculpture Park would be -- vandalism? Otherwise, just the usual assaults, property destruction and fugitive arrests at Mile 277, Econo Lodge and this week, Five Guys joins in. Lastly, how does a fugitive get arrested at the Post Office? Buying stamps with a stolen credit card?
