Blotter: Shoplifter Leaves Kohl's With $1,800 in Merchandise
Crestwood Police Department reports on criminal activity and law enforcement, Sept. 29-Oct. 5.
Sept. 29: A man at Whitecliff Park, who claimed he gave his friends his wallet to watch temporarily, said he discovered money missing when it was returned.
Oct. 1: A shoplifter walked out of Kohl's, 9701 Watson Rd., with $1,800 in merchandise. The haul included two sets of bed sheets and a watch, according to Crestwood Police.
Oct. 2: Several tools, including a circular saw, drill kit, and drill bits, were taken from a home being renovated on Joann Place. The items were taken sometime between Sept. 27-Oct. 1.
Oct. 2: A customer walked out of Schnuck's, 9540 Watson Rd., with a bottle of Smirnoff vodka, a bottle of Grey Goose vodka, and a bag of Combos.
Oct. 3: A customer left without paying at Mobil on the Run, 9950 Big Bend Blvd.
