Candidates and volunteers alike agreed that they would like to see more voters at the polls Tuesday.

Crestwood Board of Aldermen Ward 2 candidates Tim Trueblood and Mary Stadter were both outside of Crestwood City Hall this morning, and Trueblood said as of 8:30 a.m. he estimated he had only seen about 12 voters walk through the doors.

John O'Sullivan has been voting since he registered at the age of 18. He is now 30. 

"I feel like it's my obligation and duty," he said. "I just moved here this year (to Crestwood)."

Over in Sunset Hills, Carol Gregorson was volunteering outside of the Community Center in support of Lindbergh School District Board of Education candidates. 

"It's been slow—hopefully the moms will come by after they drop kids off to school," Gregorson said.

Polls close at 7 p.m., and Patch will have live updates throughout the night.
