Updated: South County Woman Attacks Grandmother She Thought Was a Demon
The 92-year-old woman suffered two broken arms and eight broken ribs, according to a St. Louis County Police report.
A South St. Louis County woman is accused of throwing down her 92-year-old grandmother and stomping on her, breaking both her arms and eight ribs Nov. 12.
Rachel Armstrong, 37, of the 10000 block of Golf Crest in South County's Sappington area, was charged Thursday with first-degree elder abuse.
St. Louis County Police said Armstrong admitted to throwing down her grandmother and stomping on the woman Nov. 12, also in the 10000 block of Golf Crest. Armstrong told police she believed her grandmother was a demon, according to a report from KMOV.
Armstrong was being held Tuesday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $75,000, cash only.

That's really very sad. Mrs. Armstrong probably protected that nut case all along and this was what she got for it. That had to be one horrific beating. Absolutely, it's murder but watch, it will be negligent homicide or some other wimpy charge and she'll have lawyers making a field day of that "demon" excuse.

She has lived with her grandma since HS. The girl has no $$. So unless she gets a great public defender, she'll be behind bars for a very long time.
