St. Louis County police are searching for a suspected bank robber who demanded money at the Jefferson Bank at 5475 Southfield Center, near Ronnie's Cinema.

At 11:20 a.m. county police officers from the Affton-Southwest Precinct responded to the call of a bank robbery. According to police a man had entered the bank and demanded money. The subject then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was injured. No weapon was displayed.

St. Louis County police detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons responded to conduct the investigation. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20’s to mid-30’s,   approximately 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with brown hair. He was reportedly wearing a dark colored windbreaker, dark pants, a light blue shirt with a tie, a red hat, possibly a baseball cap.
