Sunset Hills Public Works Director Resigns
Anne Lamitola leaves her post on Nov. 9 to take a position in Ladue.
Staff shake-ups continue in Crestwood and Sunset Hills. Sunset Hills Public Works Director Anne Lamitola submitted her resignation on Tuesday, she said. She will be taking over the position of Director of Public Works with the City of Ladue.
Lamitola began her employment in Sunset Hills in 2007. Lamitola, whose last day will be Nov. 9, said she was "looking forward to a different opportunity."
"I gained a ton of experience here and have been exposed to so many types of zoning, engineering, and roadway projects. I'm certainly thankful for my time here," Lamitola said.
Ladue's previous Public Works Director, Dennis Bible, served more than 41 years with the city. Once the city's fire chief, he served in the director position from 1989 until his retirement this September.

I agree. It's taken forever for Ladue to get a good Public Works Director, and they've gotten one of the best.
