We have our first two winners in the weekly Patch caption contest. Each provided the best caption, as judged by Patch editors, to one of the photos that was posted on the site in the last two weeks.

The first winner of a Patch tote bag and breakfast or lunch at Maggie's Lunchbox in Fenton, is Thad James for his caption on a photo of Rockwood middle schoolers on a field trip to the Grand Tetons. His entry? "Look at those gas prices!" was picked as the best of the week.

The second caption contest winner (same great prize) - Chris R. - crafted a creative description for a cuddly photo of a litter of puppies. The caption was "We are here for the party. We were told there would be bacon."
