Woman Charged with Kidnapping, Robbing Man in Sunset Hills
The defendant acted with another man, driving the victim to banks and having him withdraw money, police said.
A woman was charged with abducting a man in Webster Groves in June 2009 and forcing him to withdraw money from his bank account at various locations, including a Sunset Hills bank.
Keesa A. Deere, 39, of the 3800 block of Shenandoah in St. Louis, was charged Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with kidnapping and first-degree robbery.
According to a Sunset Hills Police report, Deere and a man abducted their victim in a parking lot at 4 South Old Orchard Ave. in Webster Groves. The two told the man they had a gun but would not harm him if he cooperated, police said in the report.
The victim was told to get in the car with the Deere and the other man. The two had him withdraw money at various U.S. Bank locations, including 10230 Watson Road in Sunset Hills, where they had him withdraw $1,800. Police said Deere and another man then took the money.
They held the victim for 1½ hours.
Bond for Deere was set at $100,000. She is being held in St. Louis County Jail.

Great, they drive out of their neighborhood looking for victims who normally think they are safe. Who expects to be kidnapped in Old Orchard? I hope this pair receives many years in cages.
