Shrink-Wrapped Mazda, Left Running, is Stolen A 2011 Mazda CX-7 was stolen between Dec. 1 from the lot of Bommarito Mazda. Police said keys were left in the vehicle, which was left running in order to do work on the vehicle related to its battery. When the worker returned to the vehicle, it was gone. Lighting up anything indoors is bound to attract attention At 11:45 p.m., police were summoned by employees of a business in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue Oct. 27 about a customer attempting to smoke marijuana inside the business. Woman Stuns Ex-Boyfriend According to Chesterfield Police, Claire Canon, 18, of Chesterfield, went to the home of her ex-boyfriend on Dec. 30 and asked him for a hug. But instead of an embrace, Canon used a stun gun on him. After initially being knocked down by the electric pulse from the stun gun, he ran from the house where he was met by three masked men who proceeded to beat him in the street. After the traffic stop, the 30-year-old driver threw the tickets out of the car window as he drove off. Police stopped him again and wrote a new ticket, this one for littering the roadway.
