Art camp provides students the opportunity to develop his or her own style, artistic practice and self-expression through age-appropriate projects and activities.
Themes are used to identify artists, movements, media and techniques for each session. By exploring a different theme each session, campers develop cultural appreciation and aesthetic awareness as they learn varying techniques and processes of two and three-dimensional media.
Elemental Infusion

Leaves+lines, shadows+ shapes, fire +form, sun+space, clouds+ colors, trees+texture; infuse the elements of nature and art into a week of exploration and creation.

More About Laumeier Sculpture Park
This former residence of Henry and Matilda Laumeier was bequeathed to St. Louis County as a park in 1968, opened to the public in 1975 and shortly after became a sculpture garden. The 105 acres are open for picnics, walks with pets (on leash) and admiration of the giant, notable sculptures. The cut-stone house has become a museum and offices for the park. There are classes, exhibits and outdoor events held throughout the year. Plenty of lot parking. Visitors wander the site most days.
