CITY OF SUNSET HILLS MOVES CONTROVERSIAL QUIKTRIP PROPOSAL OFF APRIL 2ND AGENDA

The City has moved items off the April 2nd Planning and Zoning meeting, citing the need for a "traffic study."  Longtime resident and candidate for Mayor, Mark Furrer says,"The timing is certainly dubious just before the election.  How could QuikTrip and the developer not have performed required traffic studies before bringing this project forward?"   Residents received the city's published newsletter in their mailboxes today showing the April 2nd meeting agenda.   Furrer went on to say, "Their timing is impeccable.  They drop this controversial, no-bid development plan on the residents just after the window closes for candidates to appear on the ballot. Now they further frustrate by making last minute agenda changes?  I think concerned citizens should attend the meeting on April 2nd to show opposition to the proposal and vote Mark Furrer for Mayor on April 8th." For further information: http://www.facebook.com/electfurrer http://fox2now.com/2014/03/21/sunset-hills-development-deal-appeared-locked-in-years-ago/
