Non-Crestwood Residents Can Now Purchase Aquatic Center Memberships

The center will open for the season Saturday, May 26.

Non-members of the City of Crestwood will no longer need to be sponsored by a resident for the upcoming swim season. The Crestwood Department of Parks and Recreation announced that beginning in January, anyone may purchase a membership to the . The Aquatic Center was only open to residents and non-residents who had purchased a membership or ID card, but now sponsorship is no longer necessary.

Family Aquatic Center 2012 membership passes are $200 for Crestwood residents and $400 for non-residents. Individual passes also are available for $80 for residents and $150 for non-residents. ID cards allowing members to pay a daily rate cost $5 for residents and $35 for non-residents.

Todd Stover, recreation manager, said in a statement that many other types of passes for both the Aquatic Center and Community Center are available with updated rates, as well as special memberships for Crestwood businesses and employees of businesses within the Lindbergh School District boundaries. All passes are good for 365 days from the date of purchase and you must verify residency to receive the lower Crestwood rates. Seniors age 62 or over receive a 10 percent discount on their membership.
