Oak Bend Veteran's Display Coming Down May 31
The display is a result of work from the Sappington-Concord Historical Society and local families.
Those wanting to see a display honoring local veterans have until May 31 to do so.
Several artifacts have been on display at the library branch since the beginning of May, thanks to the Sappington-Concord Historical Society President Stephen Hanpeter, who applied for use of the case more than a year ago.
As member of that board and a resident volunteer with the , Jacque Stock contacted various military friends, including Crestwood Gold Star families. A list of participants is on the wall of the case along with letters.
