Second Annual Route 66 Classic Car Show Revs Up in Crestwood Court

Last Saturday the Route 66 Classic Car Show hit the streets in Crestwood, with main events at Crestwood Court.

The second annual Route 66 Classic car show was a hit last weekend, with events for kids, games, dancing, awards and a concert by Sh-Boom.

There were 20 different car categories with awards presented. The winners were:

1 - Stock 1900-1959, winner Roy Culp, with a 1955 Ford Fairlane, Blue & White
2 - Stock 1960-1972, winner John Koebbe, with a 1971 Plymouth Cuda, Yellow
3 - Stock 1973-Present, winner John Devine, with a 1980 Chevy Camaro, Silver & Gray
4 - Street Machines 1949-Present, winner Dennis Chiodini, with a 1968 Chevy Camaro, Red
5 - Street Rods 1900-1948, winner Charles Ottenad, with a 1933 Ford 3 window, Orange
6 - Stock Trucks 1900-Present, winner Kent Chinowth, with a 1971 Chevy C-10, Copper
7 - Custom Trucks 1900-Present, winner Jerry Dawson, with a 1941 Ford Pick Up, Black
8 - 55, 56, and 57 Chevys, winner Rob Lienhart, with a 1955 Chevy Bel-Air, Red & White
9 Corvettes 1954-Present, winner Gene Gladstone, with a 1958 Chevy Corvette, Red
10 - Mustangs 1964-Present, winners Patrick & Pamela O’Fallon, with a 1965 Ford Mustang, Grey & Silver
11 - Foreign 1900-Present, winner John May, with a 1958 MGA MG, Blue
12 - Pro Street (Tubbed), winners Deb & Stu Langer, with a 1965 Chevy Chevelle 2-door wagon, Blue
13 - Model A’s & T’s – Stock – no entries
14 - Thunderbirds 1955-Present, winner James Bouckaert, with a 1959 Ford Thunderbird, Red
15 - Rat Rods & Unfinished, winners Larry & Karen Reifsteck, with a 1934 Chevy Sedan, Green Primer
16 - Crestwood Mayor’s Choice, winner Don Pfitzinger, with a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, Light Blue
17 - Sunset Hills Mayor’s Choice, winner Don Pfitzinger, with a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, Light Blue
18 - Special Interest, winner Andrew Heigenroeder, with a 1957 Chevy El Camino, Red
19 - Best Paint, winner Dan Luaders with a 1964 Chevy Impala, Green
20 - Best Interior, winner Charles Ottenad, with a 1933 Ford 3 window, Orange
