Here's what's happening today, Tuesday, Aug. 9.

1. It's a meeting of the boards tonight as the Board of Aldermen for the City of Crestwood and Sunset Hills and the Lindbergh School District both meet tonight. Patch will be on the scene covering both meetings.

2. Today is the last day for 10th, 11th and 12th grade Lindbergh School District students to meet with their counselors. Incorrect dates were mailed out with schedules. 

3. Ever wanted to learn how to fence—as in with swords? Learn this afternoon at the Sunset Hills Community Center. Cost is $80 per person.

4. Want to spruce up your home garden to look like the experts'? The Missouri Botanical Garden is registering for fall and winter gardening and landscaping classes for adults.
