2011 LouFest Music Festival

The all-ages music indie festival kicks off at noon Saturday with a performance by Jon Hardy & the Public. Festivities include food and beverage concession stands, AREA K for kids, with kid-friendly food, a rock-climbing wall and music. Admission to the festival is free for kids ages 10 and younger. An effort to keep it green features a refillable water station, composting, valet bike parking and recycling opportunities.

Saturday's line-up includes: Troudadour Dali, Sleepy Sun, Dom, Kings Go Forth, Surfer Blood, The Hold Steady, Deerhunter and the Roots.

Sunday's performers include: Old Lights, Lost in the Trees, Ume, Jumbling Towers, The Low Anthem, Das Racist, Cat Power and TV on the Radio.
