CHADS Art Unveiling

In the fall of 2010, Montgomery Banks graciously donated the space of their Crestwood Bank building to CHADS’ use. Since then staff and volunteers have benefited from the amazing space and location.

The Route 66 Classic Car Cruise group of Crestwood-Sunset Hills generously granted CHADS funds to “spruce” up the teller area in order to create a warm and welcoming environment. CHADS wanted to involve student groups in this project in order to channel their experiences and creative energy. The arts are a wonderful healing mechanism. The idea behind this project was to create a visual representation of hope and symbolize the “The Journey Out” of depression.

Students from Lindbergh, Kirkwood and Maplewood-Richmond Heights high schools have been working passionately with local artist Lyndsey Scott to create these pieces and CHADS would like to invite you to attend the official unveiling of the pieces. The event will be held on Saturday March 31st from 1-2:30 with a short presentation of the pieces beginning at 1:45pm. Please take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet students who have been affected by the work CHADS is doing in partnership with our generous funders.
