Lindbergh Senior Gets Hands-On In Medical Field

Hannah Stock participated in the Lead America program this summer at the University of California-Berkeley.

Lindbergh High School senior Hannah Stock experienced in hands-on training in the medical field this summer as a participant in the Lead America program at the University of California-Berkeley, according to a news release from the Lindbergh School District. She was nominated by LHS anatomy teacher James Denner.

Stock had the chance to attended lectures, perform assessments and even make diagnoses on practice patients. She also participated in a simulation of a comprehensive medical examination.

Stock is interested in pursuing a career as a neonatal nurse or pediatrician.

“The trip was a life-changing experience,” she said.
