Bid Now! Own a Piece of Crestwood Court

You may have noticed the yellow 'auction' sign this week while driving along Watson Road past the Crestwood mall.

During a town hall at Whitecliff Park in March, the owners of Crestwood Court said the mall's "shelf life" was short, and would likely close in a few months. While one tenant--LensCrafters--is prepared to stay as long as possible, remaining items in the other shuttered storefronts and food court are being sold off.

Items--ranging from decor to service counters to toilets--are listed on the BCL Auction website and available for bid through June 24. It is the third of five auctions related to the property, according to the site.

Here are a few cool items we found up for bid:

1. Athens Cafe menu board sign

2. Seating and equipment from the playground

3. Mannequins

4. Movie Poster Frames (from the former AMC)

5. Movie theater counter

6. Bar and Back Bar

7. Framed William De Kooning poster

During last week's Board of Aldermen meeting, the board voted to deny a planner for the redevelopment project.
