Computer St. Louis in Crestwood Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Computer St. Louis is a member of five local Chambers of Commerce.

Computer St. Louis on Watson Road celebrated its ceremonial ribbon cutting last week, complete with refreshments and giveaways.

The business is a member of five local Chambers of Commerce, however it has strong ties in Crestwood.

According to the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce, in 1996 Jim Russell opened a St. Louis location of a national franchise known as Computer Renaissance. That business was located at 9811 Watson Rd.

The business grew and by 2001 more space was needed. Computer Renaissance moved to 10011 Watson Rd. Seth Russell, Jim’s son, had been working throughout high school and college learning the business. In 2006, Seth and his wife, Nicole, bought the business and renamed it Computer St. Louis. With Seth’s computer background and Nicole’s business background, Computer St. Louis expanded from a retail product-oriented store to focusing on business solutions and a professional services environment.

After a couple of years, expansion was needed yet again. This time they purchased their now existing building at 9282 Watson Rd. where last week's ribbon cutting took place.
