Do You Think King Edward's is the King of St. Louis Chicken?

The Crestwood restaurant is currently vying for Riverfront Times' "most underrated fried chicken."

As a new resident to the St. Louis area (clocking in at around seven months of residency), I still have a lengthy list of notable restaurants to visit. Despite hearing nothing but good things about Hodak's, the best fried chicken I've sampled so far is from Crestwood's very own King Edward's Chicken & Fish.

I must not be the only one who thinks so. In late January when Crestwood aldermen praised the new Culver's restaurant on Big Bend, Ward II Alderman Tim Trueblood shared his praise of King Edward's with board meeting attendees. And now, Riverfront Times readers nominated the restaurant as the "most underrated fried chicken" in St. Louis.

King Edward's is up against Fischer's Restaurant, London & Sons Wing House, The PIccadilly at Manhattan and Tip Top Food & Spirits.
