Helen Fitzgerald's Celebrating 21st Birthday With Renovations, Party

Work on the Lindbergh Boulevard restaurant is scheduled to end next week in time for a weekend-long birthday celebration. The bar will debut a new menu this spring.

Don’t mind the dust at Helen Fitzgerald’s—Syberg’s announced renovations and new menus for its five restaurants last fall, and work to the Sunset Hills spot is currently underway.

Renovations started Feb. 10 on the bar and outdoor patio, marketing manager Tracy Stamper said, and business has gone on as usual for employees and customers.

The remodel should be finished next week, just in time for the bar’s ’21st birthday celebration’ on Feb. 22 and 23. (The even is also dubbed a grand re-opening.) Dr. Zhivegas, Platinum Rock Legends and DJ Frizzy are performing, and drink specials will be available all weekend.

Helen Fitzgerald’s customers can expect a new menu this spring, which Stamper said is in its final revision. Customers to the Syberg’s locations in Affton, Chesterfield, Maryland Heights and downtown St. Louis may already have noticed a plethora of new options on their menus.

Known for their famous shark chunks, Syberg's locations will have an expanded selection of appetizers, sandwiches and salads--plus options like turkey burgers, chicken fingers and pizza for less adventurous folk. (See the attached menu for more details.)

The Sunset Hills space wasn’t the only one schedule for renovations. Syberg's on Gravois was slated for an expansion of their bar and restaurant, but Stamper said that plan is on hold because the chain is focusing on opening a new location in 2013.
