Ross Dress for Less Coming to Sunset Hills

The store will be housed in the former CompUSA on Lindbergh.

Just in time for the holiday season, Ross Dress for Less will finally open in the old CompUSA location at 3614 Lindbergh. According to the South County Times, last October developer Jim Sansone publicly hinted that the former CompUSA location was in the process of gaining a new tenant, but he didn't divulge more due to a confidentiality agreement.

Sunset Hills Alderman Stephen Webb reported last week that discussions with Sansone have been in the works for some time, but the tenant finish plans are now approved by City staff.

"They still have some approvals to obtain from the County, but assuming all goes well, by the end of the year Sunset Hills will be home to a Ross Dress for Less store," Webb said.

City Engineer/Director of Public Works Anne Lamitola confirmed that she issued the zoning approval on the interior finish building permit and that Sansone plans to open in October.

They are more than 1000 Ross stores in 29 states, with most of them being in the west and south regions. Fairview Heights, Ill., and Chesterfield, Mo., also just celebrated Ross openings.
