St. Louis Loves King Edward's Fried Chicken

The Crestwood restaurant took Riverfront Times' "most underrated fried chicken" honor by a landslide.

The voters have spoken: Crestwood's King Edward's Chicken & Fish serves up the "most underrated fried chicken" in St. Louis, according to a Riverfront Times poll.

King Edward's was up against Fischer's Restaurant, London & Sons Wing House, The PIccadilly at Manhattan and Tip Top Food & Spirits.

The victory was a landslide. King Edward's supporters comprised 63.89 percent of the vote; runner up, The Piccadilly at Manhattan, received just 16.67 percent of the vote.

King Edward's also took South County's "best fried chicken" honor in Patch's Food Fight contest last year--though the margin was a bit slimmer. The chicken joint took 42 percent of the votes, edging Marty's Bistro in High Ridge.
