South County Teachers' Supply Store Debuts Larger Space

The Teachers' Lounge made its jump to Ronnie's Plaza after five years in business.

The Teachers' Lounge, a family-owned educational supply store, recently relocated from Mehlville to a larger space at 21 Ronnie's Plaza.

Owners Laura and Scott Gurley opened the business in August 2007. Laura, who has a teaching background, selects the the store's products for their educational value. The goal of The Teachers’ Lounge is simple – to strive to be the best educational resource for local schools, teachers, parents and students.

The new storefront includes a classroom space for meetings and workshops. The Gurleys are working to offer tutoring services, early childhood classes, and birthday parties.
