St. Louis Organizations Join Forces To Promote Entrepreneurs

Arch Grants, Capital Innovators, and go!-celerator by goBRANDgo! are combining resources for the first time ever to find one young entrepreneur, or team of entrepreneurs, born after 1984 the opportunity of a lifetime.

 

The winner of go!-celerator’s second annual program now has an added benefit:  a guaranteed spot in Arch Grants’ finalist weekend on April 26 plus an automatic place in the interview round of Capital Innovator’s upcoming competition.  The go!-celerator’s submission deadline is Feb. 1, 2014.

The go!-celerator winner receives $50,000 worth of resources including one year of free housing, office space and mentoring.  Last year’s winner was HCP United, a technology startup that caters to private practice health care professionals.  The company has grown from $40,000 to more than $300,000 in annual revenue.

Arch Grants will award a $50,000 grant without requiring equity in return.  The company has awarded 35 grants totaling more than $1.9 million since its launch in 2012.  This year’s submission deadline is Feb. 21, 2014.

 

Capital Innovators invests $50,000 in five businesses biannually.  In addition to funding, Capital Innovators provides an intensive 12-week accelerator program that includes mentorship and investor introductions

 

“This is the first time these organizations have collaborated, so it’s an exciting experiment,” said goBRANDgo!’s partner Derek Weber.  “By combining the benefits of all of our processes, we hope to propel St. Louis and its entrepreneurs even further into the global entrepreneurial landscape.”
