2) Friday is the last scheduled day of Kindergarten registration for Lindbergh district, families with surnames starting with S-Z. Hours are 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at the school child will attend in the coming school year.

3) Weekend alert: Saturday, Trivia Night for Scholarships (7th annual) by LHS Alumni at Crestwood Community Center in Whitecliff Park, 6:30 p.m.,tickets $18 per person at the door.

4) Weekend alert: Saturday, All you can eat Chili supper, Saturday 4-7 p.m. in Lindbergh HS cafeteria. $6 includes chili, nachos & cheese, pasta, dessert and a drink.

5) Today is the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's inauguration for his first term as U.S. President, the 86th anniversary of the first radio broadcast of a U.S. president's inauguration speech--Calvin Coolidge's, the 78th anniversary of the first woman cabinet member U.S. Sec'y of Labor Frances Perkins, and the 26th anniversary of FDA approval of a blood test screening for the AIDs virus.
