Cinco de Mayo Is Also a National Day of Prayer

Can I get an Amen?

1) National Day of Prayer in Sunset Hills is a noon gathering around the City Hall flag pole plaza on Lindbergh Boulevard near the intersection of Eddie&Park.

2) May 5 or Cinco de Mayo in Spanish, celebrates the defeat of Napoleon's French army on Mexican soil, by Mexican troops in 1861. In the U.S., the day is celebrated more to recognize one's heritage. It is not Independence Day.
