Five (Salty) Things You Need to Know For March 23

Don't miss these.

1)  Crestwood public works used 840 tons of salt this winter to fight the snow and ice. We'll see if we need any salt in Spring, which started Sunday.

2) Parks and Recreation Commission of Sunset Hills meets at the Community Center 7 p.m. The agenda includes Eagle Scout projects, special event tree planting day and revenue.

3) Lindbergh High School has 8th-Hour Wednesday which provides an hour of activities or 1:35 p.m. early dismissal, students' choice.

4) Lindbergh High School Scholar Night 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

5) With the departure of the last of three retirees last night from the Crestwood police force, the department has 26 officers and seven staff, the lowest number since the 1980s.
