1) Teens celebrate Alternative Friday 6:30-10pm at the Crestwood Aquatic Center for $6 including pizza, soda, popcorn, DJ and swimming. Lock-in format for safety. 

2) Still time to waterproof you and your kids with $48 series of swim lessons at Crestwood's Aquatic Center in Whitecliff Park. Call Parks and Recreation to schedule at 314-729-4860. 

3) Election results: Crestwood residents voted to spend a potential $5,000 grant from The Home Depot on Make a Difference Day, in which volunteers do home repairs for those in need. Projects include adding ramps to housing, replacing/fixing roofs, installing storm doors, yard cleanup. City will learn whether they won a grant soon.

4) Saturday Bonus: Recycle electronic items 10am-4pm in the parking lot of Sunset Hills Community Center, behind City Hall on Lindbergh Boulevard at W. Watson/Eddie and Park roads. More info 314-382-1650.

5) Two men incorporate Pacific Aero Products in Seattle on this day in 1916, and the company later becomes Boeing. By the next year, William Boeing had U.S. Navy contracts for 50 airplanes.
