Food Fight: Some Other Place Wins Breakfast Battle in South County

The south county bar and grill took honors in this week's friendly food competition, asking Patch readers for their favorite breakfast nooks.

Some Other Place Bar & Grill in South County was this week's winner of the South County/Arnold Food Fight, in which we asked Patch users for their favorite breakfast restaurant. It won with 37 percent of the votes cast in our weekly Food Fight poll.

Coming in second? Cracker Barrel—with multiple locations, including Mehlville and Fenton—took second place with 20 percent of the vote. The other sizable vote-getters were Gingham's in Mehlville and First Watch in Oakville with 11 and 9 percent of the votes, respectively.

All the other finalists got fewer than 6 percent of the votes. They included: Bob Evans in Affton; Blue Owl in Kimmswick; Denny's in Arnold; T.J.'s Diner in Affton; and Waffle House with multiple locations in South County.
