Community Update

I've lived here during my years in college, and the only reason I've even stayed is because school and work is close by. Let me start of by explaining when I first moved in. At first glance everything looks well kept since they will only let you see the pretty display apartment. I moved in and the first thing I noticed was that everything was left as it was since the last person moved out. There was random animal hair, stains, trash, holes, etc everywhere! They didn't even paint or vacuum prior to moving in! The balcony looks like it will fall any minute. It's held up by DUCT TAPE and the railing seems like it could be knocked off with a push. The door to the balcony actually FELL ON ME when I tried to open it, and they still haven't even fixed it. My kitchen sink was spewing out bad smelling/tasting white stuff for months and all they did was put a giant hole in my wall and left it there. My dog won't even drink the water. Every time something breaks (which is quite often) the maintenance men basically harass me and blame me for everything. Any time the weather changes drastically, expect LOTS of bugs, especially cockroaches. The fan in my bathroom is broken/open and attracts all kinds of birds and bugs, like wasps and bees. The hallway lights and stair lights are constantly going out and it takes about 3 weeks for them to even fix them. Every time I've made a complaint I've gotten the situation turned on me and blamed for it, as the owner is really rude and unprofessional. The maintenance men have came in without notice or permission and have let my dog out and played with my dog..NOTHING was done about that when I complained. During the winter you will be totally trapped and restless. They only put down salt AFTER it snows 10 inches, and will start shoveling at 7 in the morning on the weekends. I try to stay inside as much as I can because all the neighbors are really creepy and there are no secrets since you can literally hear your neighbor telling their 8 yr old how much they wish they weren't born. Cops are always being called because of situations like these. Everything is falling apart, disgusting and trashy. Overall, it's hell living here. I can keep going and write you a book, but let me just end this and say...Beware! Do NOT move here! Looks are very, very deceiving!
