Lindbergh Student Continues Fundraising Efforts for Komen Foundation

Naomi Leasck was named Komen St. Louis' Philanthropist of the Year. The Sperreng 8th grader has raised $10,000 toward the foundation as a goalie for the St. Louis Hawks.

A Sperreng eighth grader, who was named Komen St. Louis' Philanthropist of the Year, plans to continue her fundraising efforts for a fifth year in a row.

Naomi Leasck has raised $10,000 for the foundation with each save she makes as the St. Louis Hawks goalie. Last year, she raised $2,000 with 184 saves.

Leasck has no intention of stopping. She is already planning for this year's hockey season--and campaign, according to her mother, Julia.

There are three ways to donate to Leasck's effort, including an auction fundraiser at the All-American Sports Complex slated for November. Find out how you can donate.
