Women's Closet Exchange Gives Customers Another Reason to Shop

The designer resale store is hosting a shopping event that will benefit St. Louis non-profit the Institute for Family Medicine.

It's been a huge year for the women of Women's Closet Exchange, 11575 Gravois Rd. The designer resale store owners starred in a Style Network reality show and launched an online store. Next month they're hosting a special shopping event that will also benefit a St. Louis non-profit.

Stop by the store 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 to Shop for a Cause. 20 percent of the evening's proceeds will be donated to the Institute for Family Medicine for their community clinics and health programs, according to a news release from the Institute for Family Medicine. The non-profit, which brings healthcare services to disadvantaged families, is led by Dr. David Campbell.

“While caring for my elderly, uninsured mother a few years back, we were fortunate enough to witness firsthand Dr. Campbell’s compassion and professionalism,” WCE founder Sue McCarthy said in the release.

This is the second year the store has sponsored Shop for a Cause.
