How Much Money Can You Save By Switching to Transit?

According to American Public Transportation Association’s July 2012 Transit Savings Report, individuals who switch from driving to taking public transit can save, on average, $9,702 this year, and up to $809 a month. Your formula assumes my time is worth nothing. You also do not include the added cost of medical care from pneumonia from standing in the cold waiting for the bus.

I read in another newspaper about how the New York City subway now has wifi, and how much people love it because they can commute and check email at the same time. Does our metro have wifi, or plans for it?
