Bidding Goodbye and Thank You to Patch Readers

By now, some of you may have heard that Oct. 15 is the last day for St. Louis-area Patch editors. Our news archives will still be available. Readers will continue to receive daily newsletters. You'll still have the opportunity to post blogs, announcements and calendar events for other members of the community to see.

I've been with the company for more than three years, launching Lisle Patch in Illinois, and getting to have a hand on several St. Louis sites when I became the Sunset Hills-Crestwood Patch editor. I've covered changes at Crestwood Plaza, the closing of Johnny's Market, a great new food co-op in Fenton, community efforts to bring a Trader Joe's to South County, even a Mister and Miss Toxic Water 'beauty pageant.'

I just want to say thank you to everyone who's read, contributed, or reached out to me with feedback. Being in St. Louis this past year has been a great ride, and I feel that the Patch experience--which included meeting many of you--has allowed me to feel like a true St. Louisan, instead of just a transplant. I'm looking forward to whatever's next.
