Did you see Hit & Run @Big Bend & Sappington Thursday 9/19 6pm

I am asking for help from anyone that may have witnessed an accident that I was involved in just last Thursday evening, September 19th at approximately 6:00-6:05pm right in the intersection of Big Bend Road and Sappington Road. I was in the black Nissan Versa heading North on Big Bend and as I was approaching the intersection at Sappington, I had the Green Light so I continued on in to the intersection, but suddenly realized that a black car coming the opposite way (heading south on Big Bend) in the left turn lane to make a left on to Sappington Road (in front of me) was not going to yield to me as I was entering the intersection. The driver just went ahead and started making her left turn right in front of me on to Sappington. I could not believe she was actually going to pull right in to me as if I were invisible to her. I had to hit my brakes fast and hard and came to a stop right in the center of the intersection with the front of her car hitting the front corner driver side of my car. It happened so fast, and I was very shook up and just in shock but as I looked around there were a lot of witnesses (drivers) just staring. I looked right at the driver who hit me and pointed straight ahead and said pull over up there. I was just thinking we have to get out of this intersection. I pulled forward just past the intersection and pulled over in the right lane with my emergency blinkers on and got out to see there was definitely damage to my car, looked back to see if the other driver turned around yet and she was continuing with her left turn on to Sappington Road and just kept going. I did not get the make & model or license plate. I could not believe she did that, she obviously knew it was her fault and she had to realize my car was damaged and surely her car had damage too. I am hoping that maybe someone that was sitting at that stoplight jotted down the license plate on the black car that hit me since it had to be a shock to see the accident too, or maybe you know the person that hit me. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me. I do not know how she could, but possibly the young woman that hit me somehow did not realize she needed to stop and exchange insurance information or realize the damage she caused. If that is the case please contact me or you can contact the St. Louis County Police at 314-638-5550 Police Precinct 3, Officer LaFiore took the police report.  Or you can contact me at my email address which is cmpete60@yahoo.com. I believe it was a smaller model car and it was black, the driver was a white female and I am guessing in her mid to late twenties, hard to tell. She had brown hair and was wearing glasses. I am including a picture of my car. I am going to have to pay the high deductible to get my car fixed and I am out of work right now, so it probably will not happen for a while.  What really bothers me more is that this person could do this and not care and not take responsibility for their carelessness, and just gets away with it.  I was hit by an uninsured driver last winter driving on a suspended license and there was not anything I could do then either. These people will continue to do this because they get away with it. Please help if you know anything. I would really appreciate it, Thank You.
