Pet Rescue Network Featured Pets: Meet Amber and Scooter

Could the New Year mean a new friend?? Meet Amber, the orange tabby girl who thinks she is a dog, and Scooter, the Shih Tzu mix gentleman sure to steal your heart.

Amber is a sweet little tabby girl who was abandoned with another precious orange tabby girl named Autumn. Amber thinks she is a dog and will come over to you,  plop down herself down on her back, and wait for you to scratch her chest! She also likes to be held like a baby. Amber has the cutest little pink nose. She is approximately 7 months old (1/1/13). Amber truly is a rare find, as only 20% of orange tabbies are female. She likes to be held and loves to play with the other kittens. Amber gets along well with the dogs in her foster home. Help make her new year wonderful by giving her the purr-fect forever home! To find out more about Amber, please visit Pet Rescue Network website at www.petrescuenetworkstl.com, or call 314-995-9260.

Scooter is the greatest dog!  His previous owner died and the family was unable to properly care for him.  We are so happy to have him in our Pet Rescue Network !  Scooter is about 7 years old and a great size, weighing around 22 lbs.   Scooter is such a gentleman...quiet and completely potty trained!  He is good with cats, dogs and all people of all ages!  We are looking for a very special compassionate home for Scooter since he has a heart condition which requires daily medication.  The medication is extremely reasonable and Scooter is doing great with the treatment.  He is a wonderful pet what will add much love to the right family. Our adoption counselors would love to share more information about this very special chap. To find out more about Scooter, please visit Pet Rescue Network website at www.petrescuenetworkstl.com, or call 314-995-9260.

If I had a fenced in yard, I would adopt a stray rescue in a second! How cute Scooter is, I hope he finds a forever family!

Thanks for you kind words, Kay. His foster dad ADORES him and he is very loved by all that meet him. We are sure though that that a special family just for HIM is out there waiting for the match to be made! Please continue to spread the word to family and friends about the adoption option! Karen, PRN volunteer
