92-year-old Woman Beaten by Granddaughter Dies In Hospital

The 37-year-old granddaughter told police she thought her grandmother was a demon.

A 92-year-old woman, who was allegedly stomped by her granddaughter Rachel Armstrong in November, died from her injuries on Monday at an area hospital, according to a report from KSDK.

Armstrong, of the 10000 block of Golf Crest in South County's Sappington area, is accused of throwing down her elderly grandmother and stomping on her, breaking both her arms and eight ribs on Nov. 12.

Armstrong confessed to the attack and told police she believed her grandmother was a demon, according to a report from KMOV.
