Blotter: Man Assaulted With Hand Tool

Sunset Hills Police Department reports on law enforcement and criminal activity, Oct. 6-10.

Assault

  • Oct. 8: Sunset Hills police are still investigating into a resident's claim that he was assaulted with a hand tool around 12:43 p.m. 

Theft

  • Oct. 6: A customer drove off without paying at Phillips 66, 4466 S. Lindbergh Blvd., around 12:04 p.m. Another drive-off was reported that day around 2:12 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: A customer drove off without paying at Phillips 66, 10743 Watson Rd., 2:20 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: A cell phone was stolen at Southview School, 11660 Eddie and Park Rd., 3:29 p.m.

Truancy

  • Officers were called to a family disturbance at Econo Lodge, 3730 S. Lindbergh Blvd. around 1:09 p.m. on Oct. 10. A woman who had recently moved out of her home was accused of keeping her minor child out of school. 

Fugitive arrest

  • Oct. 7: Interstate 270 northbound at Highway 30, 9:41 a.m.
  • Oct. 8: Sunset Hills Dental Group, 11810 Gravois Rd., 9:02 p.m.
  • Oct. 9: 3900 block of Lindbergh Boulevard, 12:35 a.m.
  • Oct. 9: Floralea & Lynstone, 7:47 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: near Sunset Ford, 11700 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 9:11 p.m.

Destruction of property

  • Oct. 7: Rott at Geyer roads, 12:54 p.m.
  • Oct. 9: 12700 block of West Watson Road, 11:51 a.m.

Peace disturbance

  • Oct. 7: A ‘verbal disturbance’ was reported at Holiday Inn/Viking/Mile 277 around 12:44 a.m.
  • Oct. 7: Econo Lodge, 3730 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 1:49 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: 11800 block of Fairlind, 5:49 p.m.

Suspicious incident

  • Oct. 7: 11800 block of Twillwood, 12:32 a.m.
  • Oct. 9: Regions Bank, 10501 Watson Rd., 5:44 p.m.
  • Oct. 9: Truman Middle School, 12225 Eddie and Park Rd., 10:34 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: Grandview Forest Court, 3:40 a.m.

Animal incident

  • Oct. 7: 0-100 block of Meppen Court, 10:37 a.m.
  • Oct. 9: Interstate 270 northbound at Interstate 44, 5:33 a.m.
