Blotter: Rough Saturday Night for Helen Fitzgerald's

Sunset Hills Police reports on law enforcement and criminal activity, Aug. 24-28.

officers were called to Helen Fitzgerald's twice in the early morning hours of Aug. 26.

Officers were called to the bar at 1:13 a.m. to a peace disturbance. The individual had also broken one of the business’s flowerpots, according to reports.

Officers responded to a second peace disturbance at 2:08 a.m.

DWI

  • Aug. 25: An individual was charged with DWI on Highway 30 eastbound at Interstate 270, 12:46 a.m.
  • Aug. 27: An individual was charged with DWI at 21 Black Oak around 2:02 a.m.
  • Aug. 28: An individual was charged with DWI at Highway 30 eastbound at Sappington Barracks, 12:15 p.m.
  • Aug. 28: An individual was charged with DWI at Robyn and West Watson, 1:36 a.m.

Assault

  • Aug. 25: Bob Evans, 1430 Lindbergh, 12:50 p.m. The suspect was gone on arrival, according to police reports.
  • Aug. 27: Bridges, 12735 West Watson Road, 10 a.m.

Destruction of property

  • Aug. 28: 0-100 block of Daybreak Estates Dr., 6:28 p.m. 

Suspicious person

  • Aug. 24: Fox Meadows, 1:21 p.m.
  • Aug. 24: David’s Bridal, 10760 Sunset Hills Plaza, 5:55 p.m.

Peace disturbance

  • Aug. 26: Friendship Village, 9:01 a.m. A resident got into a verbal dispute with a staff member, according to police reports.
  • Aug. 24: Friendship Village, 4:54 p.m.
  • Aug. 25: Friendship Village, 4:52 p.m.
  • Aug. 25: Missouri Title Loans, 10164 Watson Road, 10:32 a.m. Police reports indicate the disturbance involved a civil matter. 

Animal incident

  • Aug. 26: 100 block of Floralea, 6:49 p.m.
  • Aug. 27: Deerpath Acres at Alswell, 5:57 p.m.
