Crestwood Police Arrest Three for Multiple Thefts

A recent theft from Jim Butler Auto Plaza led Crestwood Police to the arrest of three individuals, including one minor, who were responsible for multiple thefts throughout Crestwood and surrounding communities.

On May 15 two tires and wheels, a seat cushion and control knobs were taken from a 2008 Nissan Altima parked at the dealership on the 9900 block of Watson Road. The items were valued at $1,090, according to police.

Additional investigation on the auto parts theft led a Crestwood officer to an individual who acted as a 'lookout' during the incident. That individual told police who took the items, and based on the information, two adults and one juvenile were taken into custody, Deputy Chief Frank Arnoldy said.

The arrests helped solve five other burglaries that occurred in Crestwood. Officers also recovered property from thefts in other communities, Arnoldy said.
