Crestwood Resident's Car Returned After Joy Ride, But Thief Takes Wedding Ring
Crestwood Police Department reports, May 18-30
May 20: $200 was taken from a purse in an apartment on the 8600 block Grant Road.
May 21: Jewelry and coins valued at $2,000 were taken from a home on the 700 block of Samoa. A window was forced open to gain access, according to police.
May 21: A laptop, handgun, camera, jewelry, and cash and coins valued at $2,790 were taken from a home on the 1300 block of Tahiti. Police said the basement door had been kicked in.
May 22: A customer drove off without paying $36.85 at Circle K.
May 23: An iPad nano valued at $200 was taken from a vehicle parked on Tahiti.
May 26: Between midnight and 3 a.m., someone took a black 2008 Cadillac Escalade parked on the 8600 block of Pardee. The car was found parked on the 8700 block of Pardee, and a wedding ring was reported missing from the car.
May 25: A customer was apprehended taking champagne and a 12-pack of beer from Sam’s Club.
May 26: $150 was taken from a purse in an apartment on the 8600 block of Grant Road.
May 27: The window was broken out of a 2008 Chevy Equinox parked in a lot on the 9000 block of Watson. A purse and its contents, valued at $820, were taken.
May 27: A customer drove off without paying $32.90 at Mobil on the Run.
