A Town and Country man was charged for the theft of more than $40,000 from his neighborhood association, where he served as a trustee, according to a Post-Dispatch report.

Anthony Calandro, 56, was a trustee of the Hamptons Lane neighborhood for 18 years, the Post-Dispatch reports.

The allegedly stolen funds were used to pay for Calandro's water bill, landscaping and snow removal, as well as withdrawn at casinos and used in personal checks to himself, the report adds. Calandro's co-trustee noticed the funds misplaced over five to six years.
