Man Steals Dad's Truck; Father Ends Up With Broken Leg

The father tracked his son and his friend to a Crestwood parking lot and was injured when the friend drove off in the truck while he held onto door handle.

A man stole his father’s truck, and his friend drove off in the truck while the father was hanging onto the door handle, breaking the man’s leg, according to a Crestwood Police report.

Crestwood Police said that Nicholas Doane, 19, of the first block of Wampler Drive near Arnold in Jefferson County, took the truck from his father’s Jefferson County home.

Using an app on his cell phone, the father tracked them to the parking lot at Kohl’s department store in Crestwood, police said. He confronted Doane and his friend, Anthony Passiglia, 28, of Arnold, in the parking lot and demanded they return his truck.
