I agree with the curfew...but it is a shame that the town has to supervise the kids instead of the parents.

After reading the police blog...what good would a curfew due when most of the involved were so called adults

"Jeffrey A. Houston, 18; Jason Paul Chieffo, 18; and Keri Ann McAndrew, 38, of Oakmont; a juvenile from Oakmont; and two juveniles from Penn Hills" = 3 Oakmont adults, 1 Oakmont juvenile, 2 Penn Hills juveniles is what I read.

I live 1 block from the incident and called 911 repeatedly starting at 10:45PM. I was disconnected the 1st time and when I finally spoke to an operator, I was told they had multiple calls about the same incident. It took close to 10 minutes for the police to arrive. At 10:59PM, the police arrived. Sadly, the same area in our neighborhood has had many visits from our police department. I don't know if a curfew would make a difference. I understand a parent was involved in this particular incident and tried to disperse the crowd.
