Police Charge Suspected 'Logo Hat Bandit'

Bryon Gullion, who allegedly struck the PNC Bank on Watson in mid-December, is suspected of robbing several area banks.

Wednesday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Bryon Gullion, 35, with robbery in the first degree. Gullion, of Mexico, Mo., is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.

The Maplewood Police Department aided the investigation on Gullion, who was found in Richmond Heights. Both the FBI and Richmond Heights police officers helped apprehend the suspect. 

St. Louis County police refer to Gullion as the "Logo Hat Bandit," and he will face additional charges in the municipalities where he is accused of committing bank robberies. In each robbery, the suspect wore a hat with the St. Louis Cardinals logo.
