Police to Shred Documents and Take Drugs

It's all legal, and $5 donations go to stop crimes.

With identity theft a real and present threat these days, it’s a good idea to be careful about what you put out in your garbage.

Papers showing your social security number and other personal information can be dangerous in the wrong hands. If you did your own taxes, you may have several draft copies of your paperwork left over. The best policy is to shred these.

The Crestwood and Sunset Hills police, along with  are sponsoring a South County location for the second annual “Shred-It Day.” The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 7 at Crestwood Court on Watson Road.
